Hello all!
I'm looking for a roommate to begin renting an apartment starting early-mid August.
About me:
- I will graduate from American University here in DC in May
- I'm a photographer - http://www.photosbydawn.com
- I perform tango - http://www.arttango.eventbright.com
- I speak French, Spanish, and Arabic
- I keep late hours - I to go to bed between 2am and 3am and sleep until noon, but I wouldn't disturb my roommate if she is sleepingWhat I'm looking for:
- a girl
- clean (my current roommate refuses to clean the bathroom every other week, refuses to wash her dishes but once a month or so, leaves her clothes all over my side of the room, and leaves food in the bedroom, so I'm hoping to find someone a little easier to live with than that!)
- don't smoke
- quiet
- keeps late hoursPlease feel free to call me at 402-332-8007, email me at rachel.dawn21@yahoo.com, or friend me on FB (Rachel Dawn Lincoln - rachel@photosbydawn.com).
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone this fall!
Cheers,
- Rachel

Hey y'all,
Southern Belle looking for a place to call home over the next 2 years at the Corcoran. I'll be pursuing my master's in exhibition design. Yay!
I'm down to earth.
I'm friendly.
I'm non-judgmental. (I appreciate everyone the way he/she is.)
I'm clean.
I respect others' personal space.
I prefer a room to myself, but sharing is just as fine. I would like to live with other clean people as well. I love pets also, if they love me back. I also prefer non-smokers. I'm allergic. I'm very open and cool, so if you have available space contact me at (251)644-8190 or email me at sbarnes@stumail.shc.edu. I'm also on Facebook (Sequoia Barnes) and Twitter (koykoylovesyou).
I'll be seeing you all soon.
Thanks,
Sequoia

hi, my name is Dalia and I am looking for a place to live around the DC area, maybe Virginia or Maryland as I've heard that many people commute and it is less expensive to live there.
I'm from Texas
I speak english and spanish
I'm pursuing a Masters in Interior Design
I do not smoke
I am normally clean and organized
I have no tolerance for dirty roommates
I like pets as long as they are kept clean-no bugs or spiders
I would like to find a roommate who wouldn't mind exploring DC with me
I try my best not to judge and I try to be as open as possible. I'm a work in progress.
I am not a morning person but I also would't mind a roommate who wakes up early because maybe then I'll be motivated to wake up early.
I'm overall a nice girlI can be reached by email at santiban@student.uiwtx.edu or on facebook but I'm pretty hard to find (Dalia SantibaƱez)

Hey my name is Li and I am pursuing Artist Books. I like to keep common areas clean and wipe floors and counters somewhat compulsively. I am paper and clothes messy (nothing which decomposes) in my own bedroom which can sometimes, very temporarily, leak into common areas when I'm too busy. I like to go out frequently, but be asleep before midnight. I call myself a closet introvert. At home, I tend to be far more reserved and quiet, when I go out I tend to be very outgoing. I prefer an extra quiet household, but appreciate the occasional house party (birthdays, anniversaries, once every two months or so). I love touching base with housemates about their lives and emotions, but also have a strong need for privacy and alone time. I drink tea every morning. I really like the Talking Heads. I've lived in Seattle, NY, New Orleans, and Providence; sometimes alone, sometimes in big feminist-artists-activists collective houses. I have a blog here: http://ecoaesthetic.wordpress.com which has links to my installations and printmedia. I can be reached at li.pallas.loves.you@gmail.com
no smoking/no pets. I'd kind of like to live with a dog if I can walk him twice a week and not have to clean up after him much. But am happy to live pet free too.
I am vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians, though I've often lived with meat eaters with no qualms so long as dishes are regularly and well washed. I'd love to garden a bit in our backyard. We have a backyard, yeah?
I am hoping for something on the cheap, NE or Ledroit Park maybe. Mid to late August or maybe even starting in September. I think it'd be hilarious if I lived on Rhode Island Avenue or Mount Rainer, but the latter is probably too far out.Posted 1 year ago # -
